Getting Started for Students
Welcome to Habident — the learning platform that helps you remember what you’re taught by practicing the right questions at the right time. Some of your answers are even graded by AI, so you get real feedback, not just a checkbox. This guide walks you through the whole thing: create your account, join your class, do a practice session, and see how you did.
1Create your account
Head to Habident.com and click the Get Started button. You’ll be asked to pick a role — click Student.
On the Student Registration page, fill in your First Name and Last Name, your Email, and a Password. Your password needs to be at least eight characters long. Re-type it in Confirm Password, then click Create Account.
2Verify your email
Next you’ll see a Check Your Email screen. Habident sends a verification link to your inbox — open it and click the link to confirm your account.
3Sign in
Once your email is verified, sign in with the email and password you just created. You’ll land on your dashboard— and right now it’s empty, because you haven’t joined a class yet.
4Join your first class
Click the Join Your First Class button. To join, you need a Class Code from your teacher — an eight-character code, something like “ABC12345”. If you don’t have one, just ask your teacher for the class join code.
Type the code into the Class Code box and click Join Class. That’s it — you’re enrolled, and your class now shows up on your dashboard.
5Start a practice session
Click the View Class button on your class card to open your class page. The Your Progress card tells you how many questions you have to review today and shows your practice streak. When you’re ready, click Start Practice.
6Answer questions and get feedback
Now you’re in a session. Up top, a progress bar shows Question X of Y so you know how far along you are, and roughly how many minutes the session will take. Each question is answered a little differently depending on its type — multiple choice, multiple select, short answer, and more. When you’ve got your answer, click Submit Answer.
Then you get feedback. If you nailed it, you’ll see Correct! with a quick explanation. If not, you’ll see Incorrect, an explanation of why, and the correct answer — so you can commit it to memory and try again later.
Short answer questions are graded by AI. After you click Submit Answer, you’ll see AI is grading for a moment, and then you’ll get your response. If you feel the AI mis-graded your answer, click Appeal Grade, give a reason for the appeal, and your teacher will review it.
7Finish and see your results
When your session wraps up, you’ll get a results screen. Depending on how you did, you’ll see a message like Perfect Score!, Great Job!, Good Effort!, or Session Complete, along with how many you got correct, your percentage, and the XP you earned. Click Return to your class to head back.
That’s the loop
The real trick is to come back every day. Habident spaces out your questions so they show up right when you’re about to forget them — and a few minutes of practice a day is what makes things actually stick.
So join your class, do today’s questions, keep your streak alive, and let Habident handle the rest. See you in there.
